My name's Sean and I'm from Wales. I practise psychotherapy in English in Barcelona and Online. I’m an experienced and qualified therapist and a registered psychologist in Catalonia.
From my point of view, psychotherapy is a great tool to promote adaptive change and resilience to future adversity. Therapy is a means of improving one’s relationship with oneself.

How can Psychotherapy help you?
Strain and anxiety and loss are universal experiences. Therapy is a way of creating space to attend to your concerns and your emotional world. Expressing yourself consistently and receiving non-judgemental feedback is a means of organising and processing experiences, emotions, thoughts and feelings. It can help you to:
cope better with anxiety, panic, depression
come to terms with trauma
work on behavioural concerns
face loss, change, decisions
What's my approach to therapy?
At a master's level I did joint specialisations in psychodynamic (psychoanalytic) psychotherapy and Constructivist Therapy; and I did my clinical training at a public mental health centre in Barcelona where the dominant method is psychodynamic therapy. I also have rigorous postgraduate training in Gestalt Therapy and Mindfulness for clinical practice. My approach to therapy methods and theory is pragmatic and flexible, and I believe that serious training in a variety of schools is the best way to meet varied client needs.
